Regency Silver reports that a second drill hole at its Dios Padre project in Sonora, Mexico intersected broad zones of sulphide-specularite breccia, supporting its geological model. This follows earlier holes showing similar mineralized breccias, and further drilling is underway to delineate the extent of the system.

Mercado Minerals Ltd. (CSE: MERC) started geophysical surveys at Copalito Project, Sinaloa, Mexico: high-resolution drone magnetic survey (1,885 ha, 50m lines) to map veins/drill targets, followed by drone LiDAR survey (1,867 ha) for detailed topography. Magnetic survey underway; LiDAR begins early February.

Colibri Resource finished its Phase 1 reverse circulation drilling at the San Perfecto and Banco de Oro targets within the El Plomo (EP) Gold Project in Sonora, Mexico. Initial assay results from pre-holiday holes have been received, with follow-up “shoulder” sampling in progress and remaining samples being prepared for lab analysis.

Southern Silver Exploration reported drill results from the Puro Corazon claim at its Cerro Las Minitas project in Durango, Mexico, including 15.3 m @ 581 g/t AgEq and 22 m @ 426 g/t AgEq, extending high-grade mineralization to ~235 m depth. The company has defined five priority drill targets to test deep San Martin-style mineralization, continues detailed mapping/sampling, and is fully funded to begin drilling once targeting is finalized.

Tocvan Silver reported debut drill results at its Gran Pilar project in Sonora, Mexico, identifying multiple silver-bearing zones within an epithermal system. Initial drilling confirmed broad mineralized intervals with high-grade silver, supporting the project’s expansion potential and guiding follow-up drilling and exploration.

Questcorp Mining and Riverside Resources reported a 30 m chip sample at their La Union Project in Sonora, Mexico grading 20.2 g/t gold and 226 g/t silver with 2.7% zinc, showing strong mineralization. Phase I drilling also hit promising multi-element CRD-style zones and possible Carlin-like gold targets. Follow-up exploration and a Phase 2 program are planned for early 2026.

Riverside Resources and Questcorp reported high-grade results at the Union Project, Sonora, including 30 m averaging ~20 g/t gold with strong silver and zinc from chip-channel sampling, plus encouraging Phase 1 drill results confirming CRD-style mineralization and identifying new Carlin-style sediment-hosted gold potential, supporting follow-up drilling in 2026.
