Cortez Gold Corp. is pleased to report that it has commenced construction to complete the gold-silver processing plant situated in Matehuala, Mexico. The Company recently closed the transaction to acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Altiplano Goldsilver S.A. de C.V. of Mexico by issuing 6,000,000 shares of Cortez to the shareholders of Altiplano Goldsilver with a commitment to spend US$1.3 million to develop and complete construction of the processing plant.

Oremex Silver identifies new, high grade, gold-silver zones at San Lucas project

Oremex Silver Inc. is pleased to report positive results from a recently completed surface outcrop sampling program in the El Doctor zone of the wholly-owned San Lucas silver project. The El Doctor zone had not been previously sampled at the surface. In 2007, the Company completed drilling nearby that is being re-examined for a better understanding of the potential of the previously unrecognized gold-silver mineralization and to plan a drilling program.

MAG Silver Reports Juanicipio Updated PEA Study Prepared by AMC

MAG Silver Corp. is pleased to announce the results of an updated National Instrument 43-101 compliant Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Juanicipio Project in Zacatecas State, Mexico. The Updated Preliminary Economic Assessment was commissioned by Minera Juanicipio S.A. de C.V., a Mexican joint venture company, owned 44% by MAG and 56% by Fresnillo plc and was carried out by AMC Mining Consultants (Canada) Ltd.
