EV Resources commenced crushing antimony ore at its Tecomatlán processing plant in Puebla, launching a proof-of-concept campaign targeting production of the facility’s first antimony concentrate. Approximately 200 tonnes of ore will be processed through crushing, grinding and flotation to demonstrate plant performance and establish operating parameters.
Goldgroup reported encouraging initial results from six holes at its San Francisco Gold Project in Sonora, highlighted by 16.8 metres grading 4.36 g/t gold. The US$8.5-million, 26,000-metre program supports a Q4 2026 technical study and a potential restart in Q1 2027.
Luca Mining intersected 9.9 metres grading 5.39 g/t gold equivalent at the underexplored Catorce Zone, including 1.0 metre at 27.56 g/t. Additional high-grade results confirmed Creston Vein continuity below existing workings, supporting near-mine resource expansion and potential incorporation into Tahuehueto’s near-term mine plan.
GR Silver Mining extended mineralization beyond the 2023 resource boundary at San Marcial, Sinaloa. Step-out drilling returned 16.1 metres grading 162 g/t silver, including 0.7 metres at 1,344 g/t, and 11.7 metres at 147 g/t silver. Mineralized breccias now extend approximately one kilometre along strike, supporting potential resource growth.
EV Resources’ preliminary metallurgical testing of Vinatas antimony ore achieved up to 78.6% recovery through conventional flotation and produced a gravity-upgraded concentrate grading 68.3% antimony. The results establish Vinatas as a second potential third-party feed source compatible with the Tecomatlán processing plant, supporting its proposed regional processing-hub model.
Mining Americas received SEMARNAT approval for the MIA and ETJ-CUS permits required to develop its 100%-owned Cerro de Oro open-pit, heap-leach gold project in Zacatecas. The company will advance ancillary permitting, engineering and drilling toward a potential 2027 construction decision. The project hosts 790,000 inferred gold ounces.
Goldgroup highlighted district-scale exploration potential at its Don David operations in Oaxaca, covering approximately 55 km of the San José structural corridor. Beyond the producing Arista and Alta Gracia mines, the company identified Margaritas and El Rey as priority gold-silver targets, emphasizing opportunities to extend known veins and discover additional mineralized structures.
Mercado Minerals reported initial surface results from the Campanillas Vein at its Zamora Project in Sinaloa, including 2.40 metres grading 528 g/t silver and 0.75 g/t gold, with 1.00 metre of 828 g/t silver. Mapping doubled the known vein strike length to 300 metres and identified mineralization beyond the historical workings.
Sonoro Gold reported results from the first 10,000 m of its 50,000-m drill program at Cerro Caliche, Sonora. Drilling expanded known mineralization, confirmed continuity between several zones and identified El Quince as a significant new zone. Highlights include 18.29 m grading 3.39 g/t Au, including 9.14 m at 6.44 g/t Au.
Southern Silver reported additional underground channel-sampling results from the Puro Corazon mine, including 2.8 metres grading 665 g/t silver equivalent and 4.0 metres grading 367 g/t silver equivalent. Sampling from sublevels 5–14 confirmed multiple zones of strongly anomalous polymetallic mineralization within the Cerro Las Minitas property.
