Goldplay Discovers New Gold Zone At San Marcial In Low Sulphidation Epithermal System – Initial Channel Samples Up To 10 g/t Au

Goldplay President and CEO Marcio Fonseca commented, Over the past months Goldplay has actively explored the 1,250 ha of the San Marcial concession with soil, rock chip and channel sampling, identifying and testing targets that will add value to the San Marcial silver resource, by expanding or discovering new mineralized zones. High grade gold results with visible (panned) gold from epithermal quartz veins within artisanal tunnels in the Nava Zone provide encouragement for a gold mineralized low sulphidation epithermal system, just 1.5 km west of the high-grade hydrothermal breccia-hosted silver resource. The new Nava Zone gold discovery suggests that the San Marcial Project has potential to be a significant multi-commodity play, with proven occurrence of gold and silver mineralization together with series of old artisanal mine workings on the Faisanes – Nava Corridor. We are focused on additional sampling and trenching at Nava to define the extent and geometry of the gold mineralization, on surface, and identify targets to follow up with drilling.

Aztec Minerals Interprets Multiple Porphyry Gold-Copper Targets at Cervantes Property in Mexico from Airborne Magnetic and Radiometric Survey Data

Joey Wilkins, President and CEO, commented, We are very pleased to see the airborne geophysical survey at Cervantes successfully identified 11 prospective porphyry target areas, including several newly discovered high-quality targets. Pronounced northeast-southwest trends are enhanced in the new geophysical datasets in addition to clear northwest-southeast trends we believe are important mineralizing controls. We plan to follow up each prospect area with more detailed mapping, sampling and surveying to better define targets for drilling.

Lower Court in Mexico Rules on Constitutionality of Mexican Mineral Title System and Former Claims Held by Almaden

Almaden Minerals Ltd. and its 100% owned Mexican subsidiary has learned that a lower court in Puebla State has ruled that Mexico’s mineral title system is unconstitutional because consultation is not required before the granting of mineral title. The lawsuit was filed against the Mexican government regarding claims originally held by Almaden which covered a large area including the Ixtaca deposit. This ruling can be appealed by both the Government of Mexico and Almaden. The Company believes that this lawsuit is part of a broad effort by special interest groups to change the mining law and there are other similar actions active across Mexico.

Radius Gold restarts drilling at Amalia high grade gold silver discovery

Radius Gold Inc. is pleased to announce that drilling has commenced at Radius’s high-grade gold-silver Amalia Project located in Chihuahua, Mexico. The drill program is operated by Radius and funded by Pan American Silver, under a joint venture agreement. Radius plans to follow-up on exceptional high grade results from drilling last year. Radius’s initial nine-hole drill program at Amalia intersected high-grade mineralization in the San Pedro structural zone with the last and deepest hole (AMD18-009) intersecting 26m at 7.08g/t Au and 517 g/t Ag, including 5m at 14.71 g/t Au and 1378 g/t Ag.

Silver Viper Identifies New Targets for Drilling at La Virginia Gold-Silver Project, Prepares for Helicopter-Borne Magnetic and Radiometric Survey

Silver Viper’s President and CEO Steve Cope states, El Rubi is an extremely interesting area within the La Virginia project. The work we have undertaken has identified compelling targets both along trend of El Rubi drilled by Silver Viper in late 2018, and on a parallel, yet to be named trend to the east we are evaluating at the moment. Drill testing will commence in the coming weeks.

Juanicipio Development Receives Joint Approval

Octavio Alvídrez, Chief Executive Officer of Fresnillo plc, said: The decision to approve Juanicipio reflects the extensive work the JV partners have done to de-risk the project to meet stringent development criteria. This decision to invest demonstrates our confidence in the long-term outlook for mining in Mexico. The new mine will create significant employment and highlights our commitment to sustainable growth for the benefit of all stakeholders.

Kootenay Reports Sampling Results and Discovery of New Vein at High-Grade Copalito Silver-Gold Project, Mexico

Kootenay President and CEO James McDonald stated. This is one of two projects we acquired over the last year with the potential for the discovery of high-grade vein hosted deposits. Vein widths, strike extents and grades encountered to date along with lack of any previous drilling indicate excellent potential for resource discovery. We will continue to advance Copalito to the drill stage while at the same time preparing for the first drill program on the Columba silver project the second of the two new projects.

Gainey Receives Environmental Permits for 32 Drill Targets at Las Margaritas

David Coburn, President and CEO commented, the approval by SEMARNAT is a significant step in advancing the exploration at the El Colomo Project and proving out the continuity of the gold mineralization from the Golden Zone in Nayarit to Las Margaritas in Durango, a distance of approximately 8 kilometres. The vein system at Las Margaritas has never been drill-tested and Gainey will be outlining a more detailed exploration/drilling strategy in the very near future.

Discovery Significantly Increases Anomalous Area at Minerva Project and Returns Surface Samples with Values up to 997 g/t Silver, 30.9% Zinc, and 12.8% Lead

Gernot Wober, VP Exploration states, Mapping and sampling of leakage mineralization typical of carbonate replacement deposits in surface outcrop continues to demonstrate strong potential for a robust CRD / skarn system at depth on our Minerva project. The high-grade tenor of the sample results in these anomalous areas is very encouraging. The surface results in conjunction with pending underground sampling results and the interpretation of a completed airborne geophysical survey will help finalize our phase 1 drill planning.
