Kootenay Silver Inc. is pleased to announce the commencement of a 7,000-meter Phase II core drilling program following up on high grade results from the 2019 campaign at the Columba silver project in Chihuahua State, Mexico.
Newmont Corporation announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously approved investment in an Autonomous Haulage System at Boddington in Australia to enhance safety and productivity, while also extending mine life. Once fully operational in 2021, Boddington will be the world’s first open pit gold mine with an autonomous haul truck fleet.

“Further step-out exploration drill results demonstrate the potential to increase our initial 72.5 million tonne resource estimate announced on December 11, 2019,” said Christopher Emerson, Pan American’s Vice President Business Development and Geology.

The acquisition of this data adds another dimension to the project by providing low-to-no-cost geologic answers for areas that Minaurum would otherwise have had to drill, while revealing high-potential targets for immediate drilling around the old mines,” stated Darrell Rader, President and CEO of Minaurum Gold.
“The Santana property mineralization is hosted within a series of well-defined breccia pipes, only two of which have been drill tested in any significant manner. In 2018, the Company drilled one of these previously untested targets near the currently planned starter operations resulting in a significant new discovery, called Divisadero. This new discovery provided Minera Alamos with increased confidence that the overall project area may contain multiple Nicho-style mineralization centres that are easily accessible from surface.” stated Darren Koningen, CEO of Minera Alamos.
