Akiba Leisman, CEO of Mako states, “Crucita is the second shallow high-grade discovery the Company has announced over the past 2 months at Las Conchitas. Our objective was always to start producing with a small resource, on a fraction of the San Albino area, and to use the cash flow from San Albino to unlock the potential of our orogenic gold system.”

The primary objectives of the drilling program is to better define the open pit, heap leach gold potential of the porphyry gold oxide cap at California, evaluate the potential for deeper copper-gold porphyry sulfide mineralization underlying the oxide cap, test for northern extensions of the California mineralization at California North and northwestern extensions of the Jasper mineralization.

“The very high-grade CDH-140 intercept is an excellent result adding significantly to the El Refugio resource confidence on this westerly ‘section 800’ where there is no previous drilling. Drill hole CDH-141 intercepted a wide zone of gold-silver mineralisation with several reportable and high-grade intercepts, demonstrating the size and continuity of the El Refugio structure and its significance in the Copalquin District.”

Vice President of Exploration Rob Macdonald states: “These latest drill results have now confirmed the continuity of new mineralization over an approximate 400 metre strike-length extending laterally from the Mina La Bocona to the Skarn Front deposits.”

“These initial results are encouraging and suggest the gold recovery of oxide material at Pilar has the potential to be relatively high.”, commented CEO, Brodie Sutherland. “Work is underway to validate these results at a certified lab. In the meantime, we await the results of our latest stage of drilling at Pilar which aggressively targeted new areas beyond our Main Zone.”

“Drillhole D-96-03-22 returned the highest-grade intercept from the more than 200,000 metres drilled to date on the La Colorada Skarn project,” said Christopher Emerson, Pan American’s Vice President Business Development and Geology. “Further infill drilling will provide tighter spacing to help define this high-grade zone, while step out drilling targets extension of the footprint to the west where the mineralization is still open.”

Three significant gold and silver mineralized structures, Amalia, California and El Cuervo, have been defined by more than 23,000 m of drilling. Across the 3 major structures, mineralization spans over 1,100 m vertically. Mineralization remains open for expansion at each target and multiple targets remain un-tested across the 6 km of structures defined to date.

Chief Executive Officer, Daniel Kunz commented, “Our ongoing Phase 2 drilling of step out holes at San Miguel East has made discoveries of both mill and heap leach grade mineralization that are expanding the potential resource at this deposit. Once again, our drilling continues to intersect multiple veins down-hole that increase the resource potential. We also expect that the deposit will grow along strike to the southeast eventually connecting with the nearby Noche Buena deposit.”
