Silver Spruce Resources has acquired a 100% direct interest in the Pino de Plata silver project in Chihuahua, replacing its previous option agreement. The new structure removes the time limit on development or sale, while the company advances land access negotiations and prepares for a Phase I drill program at the undrilled property near Coeur’s Palmarejo mine.
Zacatecas Silver has launched a non-brokered private placement of up to C$2.5 million to fund its maiden drill program at the Oso Negro gold-silver project in Sonora. The proceeds will also support exploration and permitting across its Mexican project portfolio and provide additional working capital.

Silverco has begun a 15,000-metre exploration drilling program at its 100%-owned La Negra silver-polymetallic project in Querétaro, deploying surface and underground rigs to test high-grade targets near existing mine workings. Aura Minerals reported preliminary Q2 2026 production of 75,437 gold equivalent ounces (GEO) and H1 2026 production of 157,574 GEO. Q2 production declined 8% from Q1 due to planned mine sequencing but remains in line with annual guidance. Empress Royalty agreed to acquire a portfolio of 14 pre-production NSR royalties from Almadex Minerals, expanding its royalty exposure across Canada, the U.S., and Mexico. The portfolio includes projects operated by companies such as Alamos Gold, McEwen Mining, Kodiak Copper, and Westhaven Gold, providing long-term exploration and development upside while supporting Empress’ strategy of building a diversified precious metals royalty portfolio.
GR Silver reported additional strong step-out drill results from the SE Area of the San Marcial deposit, including 21.9 metres grading 168 g/t silver, with 6.15 metres at 447 g/t silver. The results confirm the continuity of silver mineralization at depth and support the company’s geological model, strengthening the potential for resource expansion ahead of an updated mineral resource estimate expected in the second half of 2026.
