Mercado Minerals signed an LOI to acquire the La Franca concession, consolidating 750 metres of untested vein strike with its Campanillas concession at the Zamora Project in Sinaloa. Surface sampling returned up to 1,530 g/t silver and 1.39 g/t gold over 1.0 metre. Mercado plans to begin drill-permitting immediately.
Aura Minerals secured a US$200 million syndicated loan arranged by Citi and Itaú BBA. The five-year facility carries interest of SOFR plus 2.70% and a two-year grace period. Proceeds will fund supplier payments and production-related costs, strengthening financial flexibility as Aura advances its growth projects and targets production exceeding 600,000 GEO annually.
Sinda Ltd. will join the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ), effective at market close on September 18, 2026. The inclusion follows Sinda’s initial public offering and NYSE listing and is expected to increase the company’s market visibility, institutional ownership and share liquidity.

Galore Resources reported that the 2011 assignment agreement covering the Los Gemelos I and Duende 7 concessions at its Dos Santos Project in Zacatecas has been recorded in Mexico’s Public Registry of Mines. The company is now focused on securing financing and strategic partners to advance the project.
Americas Gold and Silver reported strong Cosalá drill results, including 20.5 metres grading 654.7 g/t silver and 1.5% copper, and 14.1 metres grading 409.3 g/t silver and 0.8% copper.
