Mexus Gold US Placer and Negotiation Update

Mexus Gold US announced an update on its placer operation and ongoing negotiations for underground mining at the Julio. On April 8th, a $10,000 payment was received from its Mexican corporation. The placer is not yet running at full capacity but is starting to pay the bills. Vice President Julio Baltazar added, “We are working hard to get the mine to full production and each day we are moving closer to accomplishing that goal.”

J.D. Poliquin, chairman of Almaden stated, “Today’s holes once again show the continuity of this part of the Ixtaca deposit. The drilling program, designed to upgrade the confidence and size of our resource base is now complete. We are now focussed on developing the Ixtaca deposit into a significant precious metals producer in Mexico and are currently busy on site with engineering related drilling.”

Instead, in the normally empty desert here, tents and buses line the highway. Dust and smoke from cooking fires fill the air while hundreds of people listen to speeches and discuss the day’s events.
