Minera Alamos Inc. today announced that they have engaged Mrs. Claudia Angelica Santos Rodriguez with the firm of Consultoria Ambiental Vugalit, S.C. to perform environmental studies and compile information necessary for the application of permits at the Company’s Los Verdes and La Fortuna projects in Mexico.

Yamana Gold Announces Sale of its Mercedes Mine in Mexico

YAMANA GOLD INC. iis pleased to announce that it has entered into a definitive Share Purchase Agreement to sell 100% of its interest in the Mercedes mine in Sonora, Mexico to Premier Gold Mines Limited. Pursuant to the Agreement, Yamana will receive consideration in the form of cash and equity securities, the value of which was $140 million at the time of negotiations.

Argonaut Gold Receives Favourable Ruling in Federal Lawsuit Relating to San Antonio Permit

Cyprium Mining announces additional assay results and provides an update from the Potosi Silver mine

Cyprium Mining Corporation is pleased to announce the results from 71 additional underground samples taken from the Tunel body as part of its ongoing exploration program of the Potosi silver mine located in Santa Eulalia, Mexico. Of the 71 samples taken, 34 were channel samples taken at the edges of old stopes on levels 1 and 2, and 37 samples were of previously broken mineralized rock from levels 1, 2 and 3 that was left behind at the end of the last mining in this area. All samples were taken in areas where Cyprium expects initial production to take place.

SilverCrest Reports Additional High Grade Underground Sampling Results at Las Chispas

N. Eric Fier, CPG, P.Eng, President & CEO remarked, “It is very encouraging to receive additional high grade results from our ongoing underground channel sampling program at Las Chispas as we continue to gain further access to historic workings. Our onsite team has safely ascended to the historic 300 level** of the Las Chispas vein with subsequent ongoing mapping and sampling. Our channel sample results on the 300 and 400 levels are showing multiple grades of plus 1 kilogram per tonne silver and up to 2.2 kilograms per tonne silver equivalent*. We are experiencing minimal challenges in accessing and rehabilitating the underground workings. Rehabilitation mainly consists of the removal and stockpiling of historic backfill material along with safely constructing ladders and bridges. We are currently surface drilling based on the expanded Phase I program with ongoing compilation of all our drill data and integration with underground results.”
