Jose de Jesus Morales Yebra, age 22, was working as a driller’s helper with a senior driller installing roof bolts in the Plateros section of the mine when a part of the roof collapsed. Jose Morales was killed by falling rock. The driller also suffered minor injuries in the accident.
United States Antimony Corporation announced that the Puerto Blanco flotation mill in Guanajuato, Mexico will commence milling the 30,000 metric ton stockpile of Los Juarez gold/silver/antimony ore in July 2019. The decision has come after exhaustive testing of the recovery of gold and silver from legacy flotation concentrates.
