“Santo Domingo was first discovered in the 16th century and although there have been several periods of small-scale mining over the last 400 years, little modern exploration was ever carried out on the Property,” said Mirsad Jakubovic, CEO of Stroud, “We have now defined a significant silver deposit and believe we have merely scratched the surface. The strike length of the La Raya and Guadalupe zones have been drilled to a depth of approximately 150 metres, leaving considerable room to expand by drilling. With the technical sophistication available today, the opportunity exists to more sensitively and expertly extract these resources with the least amount of disruption and cost. The sites proximity to Guadalajara provides excellent access to roads and facilities, with power and water supply on-site.”

Leagold CEO Neil Woodyer stated: “The results of the drill program at Bermejal Underground have exceeded our expectations to date, with several areas of high-grade mineralization already defined. We continue to see excellent results as we focus the remainder of the drilling on the Central and Western side of the deposit. We have 15 rigs on site and will complete the drill program in November.”

Americas Silver Corporation is pleased to announce it has commenced production from the San Rafael Mine as the sole source of mill feed at the Company’s Cosalá Operations in Sinaloa, Mexico. Initially, the Company is targeting a throughput of 1500 tonnes per day. The mine is currently producing over 1000 tonnes per day as it continues its ramp-up. There is a stockpile in excess of 25,000 tonnes of San Rafael ore and a further 50,000 tonnes of Nuestra Señora ore at the mill, if required.

En el marco del Séptimo Simposium de Seguridad realizado en la ciudad de Zacatecas del 15 al 17 de noviembre, el ingeniero Fernando Alanís, director general de Industrias Peñoles, destacó el trabajo constante que la empresa minera realiza para proteger en todo momento al factor humano. No obstante, tanto ellos como Sindicato Minero Metalúrgico Frente, reconocen que aún hay áreas de oportunidad que se tienen que trabajar. Dichas áreas se analizaron en los pasados días por las Comisiones de Seguridad e Higiene y los colaboradores de Industrias Peñoles y Fresnillo PLC.

Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd. reports that on November 3, 2017, the Mexican Environmental Protection Agency requested that the Company’s Mexican operating subsidiary, Impulsora Minera Santacruz, S.A. de C.V., hold the Veta Grande Mine Environmental License directly in its name and not under the terms of the agreement with Minera Contracuña I, S.A. de C.V. In connection with this matter PROFEPA issued a notice temporarily suspending operation of the Veta Grande mill until appropriate documentation was filed with regulatory bodies. On November 8, 2017 the Company submitted all appropriate documents to PROFEPA and the Secretariat of Environment and Natural Resources. The documentation has been confirmed by those agencies as being in order and as such the Company expects the imminent resumption of operations at the Veta Grande mill. During the suspension of mill operations the Company continued mining operations thereby building a substantial stockpile of mineralized material while at the same time major mill maintenance activities were completed.

“The high gold and silver grades intersected in drill holes ET-17-145 and ET-17-144 have defined the Caleigh and Protectora veins as high priority targets to develop new mineral resources on El Tigre,” stated Glenn Jessome, President and CEO, Oceanus Resources. “Furthermore, hole ET-17-145 has provided Oceanus with initial evidence of the wide, low-grade alteration zone located along the Caleigh vein and this target seems to replicate what we see at the El Tigre mine located 800 meters to the south,” continued Mr. Jessome.

A review of historic data has confirmed the location of high grade silver mineralisation at the La Lupita prospect in the northern region of Santana’s Cuitaboca Project in Sinaloa, Mexico. A total of 24 samples were taken in the 1990s by Servicios Industrias Peñoles SA de CV.
