Thomas Atkins, President and CEO of Mammoth commented on the channel sample results stating: “These results are consistent with what we’ve seen in drill core and surface samples and are typical of High Sulphidation systems. We’d previously collected hundreds of chip samples over the large 15 square kilometre mineralized area on the property with many of these samples assaying from a couple of grams gold per tonne to as much as 75 grams gold per tonne combined with lower grade mineralized intervals. What’s impressive with these channel samples is we’re seeing attractive potentially economic grades in material over continual widths of 23 to 50 feet with extensions to these mineralized intervals limited only by available outcrop. Being on surface and given gold on the property occurs as free gold and amenable to heap leaching these grades are comparable to numerous economically robust open pit heap leach mines in operation in Mexico.”

Nyrstar NV today announces that it has successfully completed the sale of its Campo Morado mine in Mexico to Telson Resources Inc. and Reynas Minas S.A. de C.V. for a total cash consideration of USD 20 million, plus the potential for additional future proceeds through a variable purchase price agreement linked to production at the Campo Morado mine.

Southern Silver Exploration Corp. reported today additional assay results from the 2017 core drilling program on the Cerro Las Minitas project, Durango State, Mexico, which identified a thick zone of silver-copper enriched mineralization in hole 17CLM-098.

Goldex Resources Corporation is pleased to announce that from from May 15th to the 26th a short geological field program was completed at the Mingeo Property. Mineralization as observed in the four underground adits and surface outcrops is mainly confined to low angle quartz “mantos” (0.10 to 3.0m wide), which in places are strongly folded and/or displaced by quartz bearing faults. The quartz mantos strike ENE to WNW with an average dip of 20 degrees mostly to the north. Some mantos show shear movement along their hanging-wall contacts. The quartz mantos are believed to be of orogenic origin and lie within northern Sonora.
