SilverCrest Announces High-Grade Underground Sampling Results for the Babicanora Vein

N. Eric Fier, CPG, P.Eng, and CEO, remarked, ‘We are pleased with these initial positive underground high-grade results but caution that they are preliminary in nature and should not be considered representative of an increase in the overall Babicanora Vein resource estimation. That being said, these results represent a significant first step toward understanding the grade variability and potential upside of the deposit as we continue to de-risk the project.’

Magna Gold Corp. is pleased to announce the initiation of phase one of an exploration program on its Mercedes Property in the State of Sonora, Mexico. Mercedes is an exploration property located within the Sierra Madre Occidental province, a historically productive, regionally extensive Tertiary volcanic field which stretches from the United States/Mexico border to Central Mexico. The project encompasses a total land tenure of 1,239 hectares located on a 20 km long regional mineralized trend hosting some important exploration targets as well as numerous old relevant mining works.

Sonoro Completes Phase Two Drill Program at Cerro Caliche

‘The successful conclusion to the Phase Two drilling program has enabled Sonoro to proceed with the commissioning of an NI 43-101 technical report by a team of independent geologists, to estimate the resource potential for Cerro Caliche,’ said Kenneth MacLeod, President and CEO of Sonoro. ‘Following receipt of the contemplated technical report, Sonoro plans to conduct a comprehensive review of the data to determine the scope and scale of a Phase Three drill program.’

Endeavour Silver Reports Fatal Accident at the Bolanitos Mine

Jose de Jesus Morales Yebra, age 22, was working as a driller’s helper with a senior driller installing roof bolts in the Plateros section of the mine when a part of the roof collapsed. Jose Morales was killed by falling rock. The driller also suffered minor injuries in the accident.
