“Yoquivo continues to produce excellent results, with these final holes demonstrating that the Pertenencia vein has the potential to contain significant high-grade, gold-silver mineralization. Our drilling has now extended the Pertenencia vein system by approximately 700 meters to the north and more than 100 meters to the south, and with the discovery of a new mineralized structure, the Huga vein, demonstrates that there is unrealized potential at Yoquivo,” said Warren Rehn, President and Chief Executive Officer of Golden Minerals.

To-date, every hole drilled at California has intersected near surface, oxidized gold mineralization with minor copper oxides. There are 13 more holes pending from the California zone with one pending from each of the Jasper and California North targets.

“The early returns from the vein target mapping program are promising. The Company, along with our partner Colibri Resource Corp., will jointly manage and fund an initial 2,000 metre drilling program upon receipt of the drilling permit, expected in late March 2022, from SEMARNAT, the Mexican government environmental authority.”

“CAL22-05 intersected the strongest gold mineralization at Cervantes in the project’s history. This discovery further advances the California gold zone in demonstrating the open pit heap leach gold potential of the project. Overall, the 2021-2022 RC drill program continues to return strong gold grades over broad widths in every drill hole reported to date.”

“Our Phase II drill program of aggressive step-outs has yielded high-grade silver results at the Cotera, Minas Nuevas and San José veins, significantly expanding the known mineralized footprint of each target,” stated Darrell Rader, Minaurum President and CEO. “We are now planning to transition to more closely-spaced drilling as we advance the Alamos project. We will be providing an update shortly on our plans for 2022.”

“The positive outcome of the conceptual mining study by AMC Consulting is an important step in the advancement of our work in the Copalquin district. The study and the recently reported high metallurgical recoveries are positive steps towards development in the district for production of gold and silver from high-grade resources. Exploration drilling, mapping and geochemical programs are in progress, and we look forward to reporting this work in the near future.”

Sean Roosen, CEO of Osisko Development commented, “The 2021 diamond drill campaign at our San Antonio Project was successful in defining and expanding the known zones as shown by these recent results. The Sapuchi, Golfo de Oro, and California Zones trend for approximately three kilometers and there are at least a dozen other targets at surface that remain unexplored or underexplored along a ten kilometer strike.”
