Minera Alamos shareholders approved the company’s name change to Mining Americas Inc., reflecting its strategy to become a U.S.-focused intermediate gold producer. Shareholders also elected the board of directors, appointed Darren Pylot as Chairman, and approved updates to the company’s incentive plan while retaining the MAI and MAIFF trading symbols.

Silver Spruce Resources appointed Don Hunter as an independent director, adding expertise in mining, energy, infrastructure financing, and project development to support the company’s growth strategy. The company also announced the resignation of director Steve Dean, thanking him for his contributions to advancing its Mexican exploration projects.

Goldgroup Mining has engaged Mexican mining contractor INPROMINE to advance the restart of the San Francisco Gold Mine in Sonora. INPROMINE will prepare, test, commission and start up the crushing, conveying and ADR systems while optimizing operations. The initiative marks another major step toward resuming gold production, targeted for late 2026 or early 2027.

Silverco Mining has begun mobilizing underground mining contractors at its 100%-owned Cusi silver mine in Chihuahua, marking a key milestone toward restarting operations. Development is underway at the Promontorio and San Miguel zones, with first concentrate production targeted for Q4 2026 as the company advances toward becoming a two-mine silver producer in Mexico.
