San Marco Resources Inc. has commenced a Phase I diamond drilling program on its Angeles property in northern Sonora state, Mexico.
The Company is pleased to announce that they have received notice that the Mexican Subsidiary of Agnico-Eagle Mines Limited is scheduled to resume drilling in early May. This will be the second year of work by them on the property since the Earn-in and Shareholders agreement was signed. Under the terms of the agreement, Agnico-Eagle can earn a 51% interest in the property by spending $5 million on exploration over a 5 year period. Agnico-Eagle will then have the option of earning an additional 20% interest by either completing a feasibility study or by spending an additional $10 million in exploration.

Sierra Metals Inc. (previously Dia Bras Exploration) is pleased to announce that a pre-feasibility study has been completed by Gustavson Associates, LLC of Lakewood, Colorado, for its Bolivar copper-zinc-silver mine located in Chihuahua State, Mexico. The study, mine plan and reserve estimate are based on Gustavsons work and mine plan on a lower-grade portion of the resources, mainly at its El Gallo Inferior deposit. The evaluation of the higher grade portions of the mine still require further technical studies, which should result in additional resources and continued feed of ore to its processing plant and potentially lead to future reserve additions over the next 10 months.

Hochschild will fund C$750,000 on an annual basis (C$2.25M over three years) for generative exploration and Riverside will be the operator for all exploration activities of the Alliance, while all decisions relating to the Alliance will be made jointly through a Technical Committee comprising two representatives from each of Riverside and Hochschild similar in structure to other exploration alliances that Riverside is currently operating in Canada and Mexico.

Torex Gold Resources Inc. is pleased to report that two boreholes located approximately 100 metres southwest of the Media Luna magnetic anomaly, intersected mineralization in a non magnetic area. Borehole WZML-30 encountered 5.4 g/t Au eq. over 11.7m and borehole WZML-26 encountered 3.9 g/t Au eq. over 4.6m. In addition, the inferred resource drilling program continues to intersect high grade mineralization over significant widths within the Media Luna magnetic anomaly target at the Company’s Morelos Gold Project in Mexico. Highlighted intercepts from the three known mineralized zones reported today, include borehole NEZML-22, which intersected 8.81 g/t Au eq. over 38.2m; borehole WZML-31, which intersected 5.34 g/t Au eq. over 29.9m; borehole WZML-35, which intersected 4.09 g/t Au eq. over 37.3m; borehole CZML-03, which intersected 20.66 g/t Au eq. over 6.0m; and borehole NEZML-24, which intersected 8.49 g/t Au eq. over 13.7m.
