Golden Minerals Company today announced it has signed a letter agreement to sell Silex Argentina S.A. its wholly-owned subsidiary that owns the El Quevar Project, and also provided updates on additional corporate activities.

These holes intersected mineralization at elevations between 370m to over 450m (above sea level). We know that the areas where mineralization occurs in this structure also extend above and below these elevations, which in turn provides great targets to continue to expand Z-T in this direction.”

Industrias Penoles announced an indefinite halt to operations at its Minera Tizapa unit in the State of Mexico on Friday due to a strike called by the national mining union.
