Apollo Silver appointed Steven Thomas as CFO effective September 1, 2026, replacing Chris Cairns, who will assist with the transition through September. Thomas, formerly CFO of Mountain Province Diamonds, Torex Gold, Goldcorp Canada and De Beers Canada, resigned from Apollo’s board, prompting corresponding changes to its lead independent director and Audit Committee chair.
Silver Storm Mining closed the second and final tranche of its non-brokered private placement, raising C$6.38 million and bringing total proceeds to C$21 million. The company issued 42 million units at C$0.50 each. Proceeds will support surface and underground drilling at the La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex and general working capital.
Colibri Resource Corporation granted 2.75 million stock options at $0.10 per share to directors, officers, employees and consultants. The company also submitted final documentation to the TSX Venture Exchange for approval of transactions increasing its effective Diamante Gold & Silver Project interest to 60% and divesting its 50% Jackie Project interest.
Southern Silver reported additional underground channel-sampling results from the Puro Corazon mine, including 2.8 metres grading 665 g/t silver equivalent and 4.0 metres grading 367 g/t silver equivalent. Sampling from sublevels 5–14 confirmed multiple zones of strongly anomalous polymetallic mineralization within the Cerro Las Minitas property.
Guanajuato Silver granted an officer options to acquire 150,000 common shares at an exercise price of C$0.50 per share. The options vest according to the company’s incentive plan and are exercisable for five years, expiring August 28, 2031.
Centenario Gold closed a $1.5 million non-brokered private placement, issuing 15 million units at $0.10. Proceeds will support exploration at the Los Reyes Project in Mexico, Cabot Project in Newfoundland, potential new resource projects and corporate expenses. The company also granted 2.925 million stock options and 1 million RSUs.
Radius Gold closed a $1.248 million non-brokered private placement, issuing 10.4 million units at $0.12. Each unit includes one share and one warrant exercisable at $0.20 for one year. Proceeds will fund exploration at the Tierra Roja copper and Jonco silver projects in Peru, plus general working capital.
Tocvan Ventures identified new surface gold-silver mineralization across Gran Pilar, expanding the Bojorquez target and defining a new Central Corridor zone 4 km north of the Main Zone. Rock samples returned up to 2.4 g/t Au, 67 g/t Ag and 1.6% Cu, while the Central Corridor has been traced for over 1,000 m.
Silver Viper Minerals announced that Arthur Freeze resigned as a director effective August 23, 2026. Following his departure, the company’s Board will consist of five directors. Silver Viper does not intend to appoint a replacement at this time.
Goldgroup Mining reported strong drilling at its Don David Gold Mine in Oaxaca, completing 25,726 m in 123 holes. Highlights include 1.92 m at 13.49 g/t Au and 931 g/t Ag at Arista, and 2.55 m at 1.66 g/t Au and 1,695 g/t Ag at Alta Gracia, supporting resource growth and mine-life extension.
