Goldcorp Reports Second Quarter 2018 Results

“With the ongoing successful ramp up of the Éléonore and Cerro Negro mines, on plan gold production across the portfolio and our pipeline of growth projects being advanced on budget and on schedule, we continue to execute on the delivery of our 20/20/20 plan of growing production and reducing AISC by 20% by 2021,” said David Garofalo, President and Chief Executive Officer of Goldcorp. “In addition, the strong exploration results achieved during the quarter, highlighted by the results at Musselwhite and Cerro Negro, demonstrate our exploration team’s ability to find new discoveries within Goldcorp’s highly prospective and underexplored land packages in order to achieve 20% reserve growth by 2021.”

Harvest Gold Resumes Trading

Harvest Gold Corporation (TSX.V: HVG) announces that the trading in the Company’s shares was halted pending a determination by the TSX Venture Exchange as to how the sale of the Company’s Suriname assets (as detailed in a news release dated July 23, 2018) (the “Sale”) would be treated under Exchange policies. Following communications with the Company, the Exchange determined that the Sale qualifies as an “exempt transaction” under Exchange Policy 5.9.

Coeur Reports Second Quarter 2018 Results

In particular during the period we have successfully ramped up our new San Julián JM mine to full capacity which has made a significant contribution to overall production. The Pyrites Plant has been commissioned and final testing at the Second Dynamic Leaching Plant is on track. Both projects will make a meaningful contribution to overall 2018 production.”

Mexus provides clarification on recent press release

Mexus Gold US (MXSG) released an amendment to today’s press release. The company wants to make it clear that the ore at the 8 Brothers and the 370 differ in composition. The company is analyzing the material at the 370 which does not require roasting. This ore will be used moving forward. Mr. Lemas’ comments on the 8 Brothers ore was a general comment about what would be needed to process the 8 Brothers material. The 370 porphyry runs all the way to the 8 Brothers pit and is the focus of Mr. Lemas’ work now.

Capstone Mining Corp. (TSX: CS) has today filed on SEDAR a National Instrument 43-101 compliant technical report titled “NI 43-101 Technical Report on the Cozamin Mine, Zacatecas, Mexico” for the increase to the Cozamin Mineral Resource estimate announced June 5, 2018.

Americas Silver Corporation Provides Second Quarter Production and Cost Update

“The San Rafael mine successfully increased mining and milling rates by almost 15% during the quarter and we expect further increases in the third quarter as it continues to ramp up the mill to capacity,” said Darren Blasutti, President & CEO of Americas Silver. “These increases allowed the Company to continue to drive down its industry-leading cash costs and AISC when compared to both last quarter and last year, despite lower than expected production from the Galena Complex.
