“A bulk sample at Pilar is an important next step in showcasing the head-grade and recovery of gold,” stated Brodie Sutherland, CEO. “We are very fortunate to have access to a local facility with all the needed equipment and support staff to conduct the sample. Planning is now underway to begin the collection and processing of the sample in early 2023.”

Our most recent results confirm that younger, crosscutting structures appear to be contributing additional precious metals mineralization in the main polymetallic Plomosas Breccia and beyond into its hanging wall and footwall.”

The primary objectives of the 2021 – 2022 exploration program was to better define the open pit, heap leach gold potential of the porphyry oxide cap at the California Zone, evaluate the potential for deeper copper-gold porphyry sulfide mineralization underlying the oxide cap, test for north and west extensions of the California Zone mineralization at California North and Jasper, and assess the breccia potential of Purisima East.
Because of poor recovery before and after, only the 1.3 metres from 4.2 to 5.5 metres depth was sampled which returned 846.0 g/t silver.
