Alan Pangbourne, President & CEO, commented: “We are very pleased to report the final holes from the drilling campaign, including excellent results such as hole CKG22-094 with 357 metres of 1.43 g/t AuEq. The results support our belief that the intrusive continues to be materially higher grade than previously modeled which should have a very positive impact on the new resource estimate, mine plan and upcoming pre-feasibility study.”

“Although we faced delays due to laboratory issues, the long-awaited final results from our phase I drilling program at San Javier have not disappointed. Two additional holes on the western flank of Cerro Verde have intercepted broad zones of mineralization further to the west, while hole SJ21-32 has confirmed copper mineralization in addition to further extending oxide gold.”

Mel Herdrick, Sonoro’s VP Exploration noted, “With the discovery of multiple prospective high-grade ore-shoots identified by drilling at El Colorado, we are developing an understanding of the permissible extent and trend of these potential ore-shoots that may have up to seven additional repetitions in the footwall of the Guadalupe vein zone extending up to 700 meters to the northwest of El Colorado.”
