“The Copala Vein, located just north of Tajitos, has now become our primary focus for near-term resource expansion at Panuco,” commented Michael Konnert, President and CEO. “Nowhere else in the district have we observed such high precious metals grades over such broad intervals, located just below surface.”
“In this round of sampling at the southern Ana Maria claim we continue to see high-grade silver, lead and zinc values with a clear NW-SE emerging trend,” said Peter Latta, President.
Chris Wright, Chairman & CEO, stated: “Our team has been successful at identifying both near-surface and high-grade, vein-hosted silver mineralization, as well as a blind silver-rich zone that is over 45 metres wide, encountered in hole DDLU-22-10. The drilling within the central Lucita license area has demonstrated the continuity of the Palenque vein system over a 4 km vein corridor. This vein system represents an emerging discovery in a world-class silver mining district.”

Regarding the drill program, Dr. Craig Gibson, President and CEO of the Company, said: “We are pleased to be able to commence our plan to drill holes to intersect the Palos Verdes vein at significantly deeper levels than the previous drilling. We will be able to test the vein several hundred meters underneath the surface exposures.”

Our objective was always to start producing with a small resource, on a fraction of the San Albino area, and to use the cash flow from San Albino to unlock the potential of our orogenic gold system.”
The primary objectives of the drilling program is to better define the open pit, heap leach gold potential of the porphyry gold oxide cap at California, evaluate the potential for deeper copper-gold porphyry sulfide mineralization underlying the oxide cap, test for northern extensions of the California mineralization at California North and northwestern extensions of the Jasper mineralization.
