San Marco has acquired an option to purchase 100% interest in the 362 ha. Angeles property in Sonora State, Mexico. The property has many old historical workings and according to locals, hosted a high grade underground copper, gold and silver mine at the beginning of the 20th century as indicated by remnants of milling, mining facilities as well as tailings.

Pinecrest Resources Ltd. and Kootenay Silver Inc. report initial Phase 1 drill results from the Espiritu polymetallic vein/breccia project, Sonora, Mexico. Five diamond drill holes totaling 409 metres were completed on two of seven known silver-rich mineralized areas outlined to date. Two holes tested the Road Show Zone and three the Molinos Zone.
Cortez Gold Corp. is pleased to report that it has commenced construction to complete the gold-silver processing plant situated in Matehuala, Mexico. The Company recently closed the transaction to acquire 100% of the issued and outstanding shares of Altiplano Goldsilver S.A. de C.V. of Mexico by issuing 6,000,000 shares of Cortez to the shareholders of Altiplano Goldsilver with a commitment to spend US$1.3 million to develop and complete construction of the processing plant.
Oremex Silver Inc. is pleased to report positive results from a recently completed surface outcrop sampling program in the El Doctor zone of the wholly-owned San Lucas silver project. The El Doctor zone had not been previously sampled at the surface. Urastar Gold Corp. announces drilling results for 805m reverse circulation, “RC” drill program on the El Jabali property including several intercepts of near surface high-grade gold. The El Jabali Gold project is located in the prolific Sierra Madre Gold Belt approximately 7 km from Alamos Gold’s flagship Mulatos Gold Mine (see location map at www.Urastargold.com ) and only 1.5 km from Urastar’s La Juliana project (see news release dated 10 April 2012). The program was designed to test for extension of the La Dura gold mineralization, north of the open pit and south on the El Jabali Mine Trend.
Torex Gold Resources Inc. is pleased to announce that the initial drill program at its Media Luna target, south of the Balsas River, on the Morelos Project in Mexico, has discovered consistent gold mineralization over a 900 meter strike length. The first five holes drilled into the Media Luna target are reported, with intervals that include 6.13 g/t Au, 58.7 g/t Ag, and 2.40% Cu over 4.8m in ML-01, and 4.27 g/t Au, 9.0 g/t Ag and 0.78% Cu, over 4.4m in ML-02, and 6.56 g/t Au, 10 g/t Ag and 1.15% Cu, over 7.1m in ML-08.
Geologix Explorations Inc. is pleased to report results from a 1.8 x 0.6 kilometre gold and silver enriched zone identified by extensive rock sampling. The area called Target Area #3 is located 1 km north of the proposed prefeasibility mill location. Highlight samples from Target Area #3 include 6.88 grams per tonne gold over 2.0 metres and 433 g/t silver over 1.6m. A total of 656 rock chip samples were collected, of which 68 samples are 217% higher in gold and 233 samples are 1036% higher in silver than the current Measured and Indicated resource grades being used in the prefeasibility study.
