Mammoth Samples Up to 23.6 Grams Per Tonne Gold at Its Tenoriba Property, Mexico

Mammoth Resources Corp. is pleased to report that it has received assay results from samples taken from its first two exploration campaigns by its geological team exploring the company’s Tenoriba Property, located in the prolific Sierra Madre precious metal belt in south western Chihuahua state, Mexico. The best result from this campaign assayed 23.6 grams per tonne (gpt) gold and 62.1 gpt silver, or 24.84 gpt gold equivalent (using a ratio of 50 gpt silver is equivalent to 1.0 gpt gold based on current gold and silver prices). This single highest gold assay was followed by 26 other samples that exceeded more than 2.0 gpt gold equivalent, 45 results that exceeded 1.0 gpt gold and 85 samples that were anomalous exceeding 0.3 gpt gold equivalent, of a total of 219 samples collected. Furthermore, many of these samples came from areas where mapping and sampling of similarly altered felsic volcanics and breccia with numerous locations of vuggy silica occurred as much as one kilometre to the northeast and to the southwest of the area of focused exploration and drilling by the previous optionor, Masuparia Gold Corporation (Masuparia), where Masuparia assayed up to 45 grams per tonne gold (please refer to press release dated July 3, 2012 for summary results of the Masuparia work).

Rock-Chip Sampling Yields Highly Anomalous Gold in the Petate West/Apartadero Target Zone El Petate Project, State of Hidalgo

Prospero Silver Corp. is pleased to announce the results of 360 rock chip samples obtained from the Petate West and Petate East target zones of its 6,000 hectare El Petate project. The Apartadero target is part of the Petate West zone, measuring 1.3 km long and up to 200 meters wide and has shown the most anomalous gold geochemistry to date in jasperoid outcrops and float. Mapping of the Petate West zone shows northwest and east-west trending silicified zones associated with andesitic dikes with the same orientation. Mapping and sampling have to date identified the La Escoba, Apartadero and and Tecolotes silicified reefs. Other as yet unmapped reefs are anticipated west of the Apartadero reef and in the southern extension of the Petate West zone.

Excellon drills high-grade gold at Rincon del Caido, La Platosa

Excellon Resources Inc., Mexico’s highest grade silver producer, is pleased to report results for diamond drill hole EX12LP1038, completed in late 2012 in the Rincon del Caido area, less than one km northwest of the Platosa Mine. LP1038 encountered Source-style sulphide-mineralized skarn typical of the eight other significant intersections reported in the Rincon area since spring 2012. Each of these holes intersected skarn alteration and significant metal values, including persistent anomalous gold, indicating that Rincon lies on the edge of a proximal carbonate replacement deposit, the possible Source of the Platosa mantos. The Au values encountered in LP1038, however, are far higher than those encountered previously and suggest that the Source itself will contain a significant gold component.
