Fortuna Silver Mines signs Acquisition and Option Agreement for the Taviche Oeste Concessions surrounding the San Jose Mine, Mexico

Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. is pleased to announce that Compania Minera Cuzcatlan S.A. de C.V. (wholly owned subsidiary of Fortuna Silver Mines Inc.) and Plata Pan American S.A. de C.V. (wholly owned subsidiary of Pan American Silver Corp.) have entered into an acquisition and option agreement for the 6,254 hectare Taviche Oeste Concessions immediately surrounding the San Jose Mine in Oaxaca, Mexico. Cuzcatlan will purchase a 55% undivided interest in the Taviche Oeste Concessions for a cash payment of US$4.0 million. Once a production decision is made to develop ore from the Taviche Oeste Concessions, Cuzcatlan will purchase the remaining 45% undivided interest in the property for US$6.0 million. Plata Pan American will retain a 2.5% net smelter royalty on ore production from this property. The transaction is expected to close January 30th 2013.

MAG Silver Reports Phase 2 Drill Results from La Esperanza Silver Project in Durango and Zacatecas States, Mexico

Canasil Resources Inc. announces that MAG Silver Corp. has reported drill results from the recently completed Phase 2 drill program at Canasil’s La Esperanza silver-lead-zinc project in Durango and Zacatecas States, Mexico. 12 diamond drill holes were completed for a total of 3,049.50 metres – 9 drill holes on 5 sections along a total strike length of 835 metres to test the Fatima vein and 3 drill holes on 2 sections 350 metres apart to test the San Pascual vein, both located in the northwest of the project area.

Evrim Acquires Llano del Nogal Property in Sonora

Evrim Resources Corp. is pleased to announce that it has acquired the Llano del Nogal project in Sonora, Mexico. Llano de Nogal is an early stage target covering 104 square kilometres of ground prospective for copper-molybdenum-gold porphyry deposits and epithermal gold and silver deposits. The project was identified through the Company’s generative programs and acquired through staking. The property is favorably situated in the prolific Cananea-La Caridad Porphyry Belt, and represents one of the few relatively untested targets in the trend.

DynaResource, Inc. and its affiliate DynaResource de Mexico SA de C.V., the 100% owner of the San Jose de Gracia Project in Sinaloa State, Mexico announce that they filed on December 27, 2012, an Original Petition and Application for Temporary Injunction and Permanent Injunction in the District Court of Dallas, Texas against Defendants Goldgroup Mining Inc., Goldgroup Resources Inc., and certain individuals acting in concert with the two Goldgroup companies.

Prospero Acquires Two Additional Claims for Baborigame Project, Chihuahua State, Mexico

Prospero Silver Corp. is pleased to announce that it has signed option agreements enabling it to earn 100% of two additional claims, Sucara (71.53 hectares) and Dos Amigos (90.39 hectares), within the northern Cebollas target area of the Baborigame district. With these agreements in place the Baborigame district claim block is essentially 100% controlled and covers all exploration targets identified in the project area. Drilling is anticipated to commence in February.

Don Roman Aerial Topography Completed

Tara Minerals Corp. is pleased to report that an aerial topography survey, covering 5 square kilometers of the Don Roman district, has been completed. The survey results provided Tara with detailed maps from which exact mineral vein locations can be determined. This allows for further correlation, connection and interpretation of surface occurrences in the district. The current work is focused on achieving 2013 Don Roman production and will include delineation/drilling of several of the known structures. All work will be conducted in a NI 43-101 compliant manner.

Soltoro Drilling Intercepts 91.3 Metres of 129 gpt Silver Equivalent Including 11.2 Metres of 537 gpt Silver Equivalent in a Massive Sulphide Zone

Soltoro Ltd. has completed three additional diamond drill holes at the El Rayo primary silver project in Jalisco, Mexico. A 350 metre-deep hole was completed below the Las Bolas deposit and two holes were completed north of the La Soledad West deposit. At Las Bolas, 91.3 metres of 129 g/t silver equivalent was intersected including 11.2 metres of massive sulphide mineralization grading 537 g/t silver equivalent encountered 318.8 metres down hole. The deep hole at Las Bolas extends mineralization 70 metres down-dip from the nearest hole with a substantial increase in silver grades. At La Soledad, 0.3 metres of 3,320 g/t silver was returned extending the known high grade silver mineralization an additional 60 metres down dip.
