Cyprium Mining Corporation is pleased to announce the results from 71 additional underground samples taken from the Tunel body as part of its ongoing exploration program of the Potosi silver mine located in Santa Eulalia, Mexico. Of the 71 samples taken, 34 were channel samples taken at the edges of old stopes on levels 1 and 2, and 37 samples were of previously broken mineralized rock from levels 1, 2 and 3 that was left behind at the end of the last mining in this area. All samples were taken in areas where Cyprium expects initial production to take place.

Eric Fier, CPG, P.Eng, President & CEO remarked, “It is very encouraging to receive additional high grade results from our ongoing underground channel sampling program at Las Chispas as we continue to gain further access to historic workings. Our onsite team has safely ascended to the historic 300 level** of the Las Chispas vein with subsequent ongoing mapping and sampling. Our channel sample results on the 300 and 400 levels are showing multiple grades of plus 1 kilogram per tonne silver and up to 2.2 kilograms per tonne silver equivalent*. We are experiencing minimal challenges in accessing and rehabilitating the underground workings. Rehabilitation mainly consists of the removal and stockpiling of historic backfill material along with safely constructing ladders and bridges. We are currently surface drilling based on the expanded Phase I program with ongoing compilation of all our drill data and integration with underground results.”

“Avino is pleased to report another solid quarter of production results. During the quarter we produced 629,780 silver equivalent ounces. In the same quarter last year, we produced 819,300 silver equivalent ounces, however, during the current quarter we replaced the bearings in the ball mill in Mill Circuit 3 which contributed to lower milling rates. Up to this quarter, Avino had delivered 11 consecutive quarters of comparative growth; with these repairs complete we’re excited about our ability to maintain smooth and consistent operations with the transition to commercial production at the Avino Mine now complete.

GREAT PANTHER SILVER LIMITED announces that the processing plant at the Topia Mine in Durango, Mexico has resumed full operation. The area of Tuesday’s accident has been locked down pending completion of an investigation by the relevant authorities and, to this end, the Company is providing its full support and cooperation.

“A very thorough reconnaissance program of surface mapping and sampling was performed over the La Fortuna concession area by the previous owners,” said Miguel Cardona, Vice President, Exploration at Minera Alamos. “The compilation of this data and available historical information has allowed us to define geological models for potential ore deposits across the entire project. Recommendations are now being developed for further exploration work”.

La Joya is the same conceptual target as Naranjillo and Vaquerias is located between two world class high-grade silver districts. Early stage first phase drilling already has identified a much shallower hidden vein system at Vaquerias, with initial results of up to 737 g/t silver over 0.55 metres*.”

Pan American Silver Corp. today announced that it has achieved a significant milestone in the expansion of its La Colorada mine in Mexico, with the successful commissioning of the new sulphide ore processing plant. The new plant began processing sulphide ore on July 1, 2016, achieving production throughput rates of over 1,400 tonnes per day and over 14,000 tonnes treated by July 10. Throughput rates will be slightly reduced until the mine shaft and additional underground development have been completed to provide higher ore supply.
