Santana Minerals Limited (‘Santana’) is pleased to report highly encouraging results from initial metallurgical test work carried out on composite samples from three drill holes from the Mojardina Prospect at the Company’s flagship Cuitaboca Project. This preliminary testwork resulted in very high silver recoveries using both direct leaching and rougher flotation tests, suggesting the ore is highly amenable to conventional processing methods for silver recovery.

Although the Company is at an early stage of exploration at San Javier, we are extremely pleased with the results to date and firmly believe that the next phase of exploration can be even more productive.”

Igor Gonzales, President and CEO of Sierra Metals stated “The results of the Titan 24 program and the subsequent assay results are exceptional and reflect a high correlation between copper mineralization and the priority targets identified in the geophysical survey. We are excited about the prospects of drilling all the priority geophysical targets and the completion of follow-on drilling on these new discoveries. This program aims to potentially quantify new high-grade zones which is a key strategic objective for our Bolivar mine to better define a path to future development and growth at the Bolivar operations”. Radius Gold Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed a binding agreement with a private Mexican company to option the 473-hectare Tarros Project which is host to several large gold silver mineralized diatreme breccia bodies. The Tarros Project is located 50km north of Radius’s new Amalia discovery in the Sierra Madre Gold Silver belt in the State of Chihuahua, Mexico.

The accident occurred as part of the construction of the 790 ramp at the La Encantada mine. A total of four miners lost their lives due to gas intoxication which accumulated in the area. There was no explosion as other media sources have reported. It is believed the operator of a scoop tram lost consciousness while mucking the area. Three additional miners later arrived to the scene to provide assistance to the ill miner. The four men were carrying all required personal protection equipment, including safety belt breathing apparatuses, but sadly did not use the equipment. The emergency response crew was dispatched and successfully extracted the four miners before transporting them to the local hospital where they were later pronounced deceased.

Kootenay Silver Inc. is pleased to report that Aztec Minerals Corp. today announced additional trenching has returned attractive gold, copper, and molybdenum grades at the Jasper prospect on Kootenay’s Cervantes Property in Sonora State, Mexico. The property is one of Kootenay’s generative projects and is under option to Aztec Minerals.
