Previously mined by First Majestic Silver, Coloso has higher-grade silver and gold resources than Guitarra. Mining started at 50 tonnes per day, aiming for 150 by year-end, with optimized blending for maximum economic benefit.
Tocvan Ventures Corp. continues RC drilling at Gran Pilar, Sonora, completing 712 meters across five holes, with three at the lab. A webinar on May 2, 2025, will detail expansion and pilot mine plans. The company also amended 6.6M warrants, extending expiry to 2026 and reducing some exercise prices, pending CSE approval. Masivo Silver Corp. completed an eight-hole, 1,300-meter drill program design at its Cerro Colorado property in Sonora, Mexico. Led by geologists Jorge Rafael Gallardo, Brian Brewer, and Mark Bailey, the program targets high-chargeability anomalies and high-grade polymetallic sulfides, aiming to unlock significant silver, gold, copper, lead, and zinc mineralization across two structural systems.
Roberto Resources reported results from its first-phase rock-chip and soil sampling on the Janampalla Property in Perú, finding multiple rock samples with significant copper values (many >1 % Cu, some >10 % Cu) and anomalous silver and lead. Soil samples were mostly low, but the rock results suggest strong copper–silver–lead potential, guiding future exploration.

Fuerte Metals reported diamond drill results at its Cristina Project in Chihuahua, Mexico, including highlights like 8.5 g/t AuEq over 4.0 m, 6.1 g/t AuEq over 1.7 m, and 6.1 g/t AuEq over 1.4 m, expanding high-grade zones within the Guadalupe and Los Ingleses vein systems. These findings support continued resource growth across multiple vein structures.

(TSXV: PINN) updated on April 17, 2025, Phase I fieldwork at El Potrero gold-silver project (Mexico): vein system extended 1,100m NW, 132 samples submitted, underground mapping/sampling ongoing, roads/plant prepared. Granted 500,000 incentive stock options to consultants at C$0.05, expiring 2030.
