Drilling Intersects Additional Near Surface Copper Mineralization – Samalayuca Property, Chihuahua State, MX

VVC’s Chairman, Dr. Terrence Martell pointed to the results from the GEEZ drilling as further confirmation of the potential of the Company’s Samalayuca Copper Property and added: “We have two more zones to drill in this campaign, the trapezoid-like area in the Suerte and Juliana zones and around the old Concha pit. So far the results of this campaign have validated our hypothesis regarding the significant potential of the Samalayuca Copper Project.”

Minera Alamos Drills 93.5 Metres of 0.65 g/t Gold From Surface at Santana Project

“In addition to near-term production potential, a criteria for all of the projects in the Company’s development portfolio is that the concession areas contain significant exploration upside. While we have been aggressively pursuing production permits our exploration team has been working in parallel to expand geological models and target high priority areas for resource expansion potential.” stated Darren Koningen, CEO of Minera Alamos. “These very encouraging drill results at the Santana project are the start of an ongoing exploration program designed to demonstrate the significant untapped value contained in our development assets”.

Capstone Mining Places Minto Mine on Temporary Care and Maintenance

“The decision to put Minto on care and maintenance while we seek alternatives is to preserve and maximize its value,” said Darren Pylot, President and Chief Executive Officer of Capstone. “The team will ensure Minto can be restarted efficiently and safely once the copper and equity markets improve. Minto has been an important part of Capstone’s history and we thank the team at Minto for their commitment and dedication.”

Advance Hits Epithermal Veins Deeper in Phase 2 Drilling Also Hits 5 New Blind Veins

Allan Barry Laboucan, President and CEO of Advance Gold Corp. commented: “The Tabasquena project is in a region renowned for world-class mines, primarily from epithermal veins. In our first 7 holes on the project, we have drilled the known Tabasquena vein, which had historical silver production in the oxide zone, drilling below the historical mining workings is where we found our high-grade gold discovery, Drilling in phase 1 and 2 have tested deeper at the Tabasquena vein, discovered 8 other epithermal veins, 5 of the new discoveries completely blind, no surface outcropping vein nor geophysical expression. Our exploration team is excited about the prospects of finding a cluster of epithermal veins, in such an important region for mining epithermal veins containing precious metals…”

Sonoro Launches 10,000 m Drill Program at Cerro Caliche

“We are pleased to report that the data from the current sampling program conducted by Sonoro’s technical teams substantiate the data from prior sampling programs,” said Kenneth MacLeod, President and CEO of Sonoro. “The combination of new and historic data has enabled Sonoro to develop a strong understanding of the geologic structure, leading to a more precise targeting of drill holes for the current program and the expansion of surface sampling in the 14 km² project area, where additional mineralized zones are being evaluated.”

Goldplay announces additional positive results from sampling of historical core at San Marcial

Goldplay President and CEO Marcio Fonseca commented, “The shallow depth of intersections, favorable topography, width and high-grade of results announced in this release continue to reinforce the high-grade open pit development potential at San Marcial. The results also outline opportunities for expansion of the deposit, not only considering the silver mineralization but also zinc and lead with definition of new mineralized zones along strike and down dip, which were not previously incorporated in the historical interpretation.”

Sonoro Adds Cabeza Blanca Concession to Cerro Caliche

“The Cabeza Blanca agreement completes our acquisition of all the mineral concessions under consideration within the 14 km² Cerro Caliche group,” said Kenneth MacLeod, President and CEO of Sonoro. “Cabeza Blanca’s strategic location within Cerro Caliche, along with the positive results from our sampling program and similar results from earlier exploration programs, makes this concession a priority target for Sonoro to drill.”

Prize Mining Reports Average 2.62% Copper from Underground Sampling at the Manto Negro Copper Project

“These consistent, exceptionally high-grade results continue to demonstrate the tremendous opportunity at Manto Negro”, stated Michael McPhie, President & CEO of Prize Mining. “We are fortunate to have these underground exposures at El Granizo and the Pilar Grande mines as they provide a significant amount of information on the continuity and high grade of the copper mineralization. We currently have a diamond drill operating at both sites. These represent just two of over thirty five major showings throughout our property and the results from this drilling will result in an even more comprehensive model of the mineralization over a larger area.”

Evrim Receives Permit and Mobilizes Drill Crews to Cuale High Sulphidation Gold Project

Stewart Harris, VP of Technical Services commented, “The first drill holes at Cuale are planned at La Gloria to test the depth extent of the high grade gold mineralization encountered in trenches 1 and 4, followed by other high priority drill targets throughout the trenched area. Drilling is also planned at four step-out areas to test geophysical targets within the anomalous gold in soil geochemical and rock chip halo, including the North Dome which extends up to 1,000 metres north of the trenched area. This drilling program represents a significant milestone for Evrim and a unique opportunity for our shareholders.”

Mexus confirms drilling program at Santa Elena mine

“Using the information in this drilling program and prior data from qualified geologists we are seeking to prove a 100,000oz target. At that time, we will move to Stage 2 of our drilling program and expand upon these initial findings. As a company, we will be in a stronger position having a proven resource providing multiple options moving forward,” added CEO Paul Thompson.
