Capitan Silver Corp. acquired seven mineral concessions totaling 2,171.4 hectares adjacent to its Cruz de Plata project in Durango, Mexico, for US$4.0 million from Minera Fresnillo. This expands Capitan’s land position by 85% and extends the silver-gold trend by 1.2 km, enhancing infrastructure potential. The deal awaits approval from the Public Registry of Mines.

GR Silver Mining Ltd. announced promising results from its 2025 Step-Out Drilling Program at the San Marcial Area, Plomosas Project, Sinaloa, Mexico. Drill hole SMS25-08 intersected 19.9m at 250 g/t AgEq, including 1.3m at 954 g/t AgEq, and a new high-grade vein at 1,685 g/t AgEq. The program aims to expand the resource area, with ongoing drilling targeting further high-grade silver and gold mineralization.

Questcorp Mining Inc. has completed 25% of a 1200-1500m drilling program at its La Union Project in Sonora, Mexico, operated by Riverside Resources Inc. First Majestic Silver Corp. reported positive 2025 drilling results at its San Dimas Silver/Gold Mine in Durango, Mexico, highlighting significant gold and silver mineralization. Key intercepts include 15.93 g/t Au and 1,112 g/t Ag over 3.57m at Elia vein and 7.66 g/t Au and 495 g/t Ag over 5.17m at Sinaloa vein. Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. reported assay results from four drill holes at La Preciosa, targeting the La Gloria and Abundancia veins. Highlights include hole PMLP 25-03 with 1,638 g/t Ag and 1.92 g/t Au over 7.90m true width, and hole PMLP 25-04 with 544 g/t Ag and 0.46 g/t Au over 6.42m. The results confirm high-grade mineralization, exceeding resource expectations, and support further drilling to expand the resource. Advance Metals Limited completed its maiden diamond drilling program at the Yoquivo Silver-Gold Project in Chihuahua, Mexico, with significant results. Hole YQ-25-007 intersected 7.6m at 116 g/t AgEq, including 1.11m at 2,063 g/t AgEq (1,556 g/t Ag, 6.6 g/t Au), extending high-grade mineralization 60-70m down dip. Scoping holes YQ-25-005, 006, and 008 also hit high-grade structures north of the existing resource, with assays up to 649 g/t AgEq. The company is updating the geological model to guide future exploration and potential JORC resource upgrades.

Tocvan Ventures Corp. has secured a permit for a 50,000-tonne pilot mine facility at its Gran Pilar Gold-Silver Project in Sonora, Mexico, enabling processing of high-grade zones with a target of 1.2 g/t gold and 70% recovery. Combined with permits for 30,000 meters of drilling and 67 trenches, the project is advancing toward production, supported by strong metallurgical results (up to 99% gold recovery) and recent high-grade drill intercepts, including 6.1m at 5.4 g/t Au.
