Endeavour Silver has begun wet commissioning at its Terronera Project in Jalisco, Mexico — a key step toward full-scale production. This phase introduces water and slurry into plant systems to test equipment under real conditions following dry commissioning. The first slurry has been sent to the concentrate filter, and teams are monitoring performance as they prepare to ramp up throughput and approach commercial production.

Riverside Resources Inc. finalized an option agreement with Questcorp Mining Inc. for the La Union Project in Sonora, Mexico, on May 5, 2025. Questcorp can acquire 100% interest by paying C$100,000, issuing 19.9% shares, and spending C$5.5M on exploration over four years. Riverside retains a 2.5% royalty and will operate the exploration program.

Luca Mining Corp. announced results from nine underground drill holes at its Tahuehueto gold-silver mine in Mexico, part of a 5,000m exploration program. Two new high-grade breccia ore shoots were discovered in the El Creston vein system, with intercepts including 9.4m at 5.21 g/t AuEq and 4.8m at 5.62 g/t AuEq. A Phase 2 drilling program and surface drilling at the Santiago deposit have begun.

Kingsmen Resources reported that drill pad construction is underway at its 100 %-owned Las Coloradas silver project in the Parral mining district, Chihuahua, Mexico, preparing for an initial 14-hole diamond drilling program targeting the Soledad and Soledad II vein systems after significant surface sampling results. Drilling is expected to run through May–July 2025.

Kootenay Silver Inc. announced high-grade drill results from its Columba Silver Project, with D-Vein assays reaching 7,630 gpt silver and 30.57% lead-zinc, the deepest and highest values recorded. Hole CDH-25-199 intercepted 620 gpt silver over 16.5 meters. The company is compiling data for a maiden resource estimate, with drilling now exceeding 20,000 meters.

Fuerte Metals announced strong drill results at its Cristina Project in Chihuahua, Mexico, including 10.3 g/t AuEq over 2.4 m, 7.0 g/t AuEq over 1.4 m, and 5.6 g/t AuEq over 3.6 m, within broader mineralized zones. These intercepts, from the Los Ingleses vein, highlight both high-grade and wide lower-grade mineralization and support ongoing resource expansion work.

Torex Gold Resources Inc. achieved commercial production at its Media Luna mine on April 26, 2025, completing the Media Luna Project within budget and ahead of schedule. Construction is 98% complete, with the mine set to reach 7,500 tonnes per day by mid-2026. Funded mainly by ELG cash flow, Torex anticipates positive free cash flow in mid-2025.

Sierra Madre Gold and Silver Ltd. has begun underground mining at the Coloso mine, part of the Guitarra Complex in Mexico, 7 months ahead of schedule. Previously mined by First Majestic Silver, Coloso has higher-grade silver and gold resources than Guitarra. Mining started at 50 tonnes per day, aiming for 150 by year-end, with optimized blending for maximum economic benefit.
