The Company has began drilling with one drill rig at the La Trini target, which is included in the Los Ricos North project. The first holes will be drilled using HQ triple tube core drilling equipment to maximize core recoveries at shallow depths and are being laid out to ‘twin’ historical drill holes completed by Tumi Resources and National Lead.

This new Resource Estimate has exceeded our expectation to upgrade Vein 20, the principal zone in the MNFWZ, to Indicated Class, previously estimated as Inferred in 2018.”

Kootenay Silver Inc. announces its partner on the Cervantes project, Aztec Minerals Corp. has provided an updated review in anticipation of signing the joint venture agreement and developing the first joint venture exploration program.
The Company has also finalized initial plans for the Phase 3 drill program which will commence shortly following the resumption of post-covid mining activities in Mexico. Current plans call for an additional 20-25 holes at Nicho totaling approximately 4000m as well as the Company’s first drill holes at the Zata and Gold Ridge targets in addition to the recently identified Bufita target.

Kootenay Silver Inc. is pleased to announce the recommencement of drilling at its Columba high-grade silver project following the temporary COVID-19 related work stoppage. The drilling is the continuation of the 7,000-meter Phase-II program started in February 2020 prior to the cessation of operations due to health restrictions imposed by the Government of Mexico.
After separating and storing a small amount of the concentrate which the Company will have on hand to conduct future analytical tests, the final product consisted of 4.265 dry tonnes averaging 132.0 gpt Au and 6661 gpt Ag. Total recoveries from the final product credited to the Company by Endeavour were 18 ounces of gold and 913 ounces of silver.
