It is very exciting to return to prospect drilling of some of the blue sky targets that have been identified on this property.”

“Drilling along the 4-Trench extension target has defined a new trend over a 500m strike length immediately adjacent to our Main Zone”, commented VP Exploration, Brodie Sutherland. “We are seeing mineralization in every hole along the trend with grades above 1 g/t gold in holes JES-21-53 and JES-21-44, 100m apart. This first pass of drilling has started to unlock the potential of a new parallel trend to our Main Zone which we are excited to test in our next phase of drilling.”

David Tupper, Southern Empire’s Vice President of Exploration, stated: “Having been involved in the Pedro Gold Project discovery, I am very excited to get a second chance to work with Commander’s Rob Cameron and to return to the mineral-endowed Mapimí area to test targets I had to leave behind. Newmont’s 2014 drill program targeted Carlin-style mineralization in the Caracol Formation and did not test the potential for epithermal, bonanza-grade gold and silver mineralization, especially in the well-defined zones of silicification and brecciation.”

Mexus Gold US announced that mining continues of the Vein 2 area at its mine located in Caborca, MX with impressing geologic findings including increasing metallic content at only 10 meters of depth. Surface values are from 0.3 g/ t gold and new values ranging from 4 to 12 g/t gold and increased silver from 3 g/t to 100 g/t silver.

“We are pleased that the arrival of a second drill at El Mezquite will allow Silver Spruce to complete our Phase 1 program by the end of July and permit all samples to be fully logged and submitted to the lab before the second week of August. The technical team has been expanded with additional geologists and samplers to expedite our progress,” stated Greg Davison, Silver Spruce Vice-President Exploration and Director.

These highlight intercepts from drill hole 21CLM-159 which were intersected less than 200 metres below surface, fill a significant gap between mineralization identified in this current 2020-21 drill campaign and that identified in the earlier 2012-13 drilling and help build continuity within the known mineralized zones identified at the South Skarn target. Current modelling has identified three panels of mineralization at the South Skarn target, the largest of which can now be traced laterally for approximately 400 metres and up to 580 metres down-dip.

“Despite the challenging weather conditions since late June we have managed to complete the planned process plant commissioning and bring the leaching and recovery systems online at their design capacities. In addition, mining activities to open up the Nicho Norte pit have advanced to a point where we now have sufficient working area to transition to the larger equipment fleet planned for the ramp up to commercial operations.” stated Darren Koningen, CEO.

“We continue to see strong results from our drilling program at El Orito, with wide zones of good potentially bulk mineable grades surrounding higher grade intercepts,” said Brad Langille, President and CEO. “We are very excited to see that the targets located with our IP geophysical program are yielding great results from drilling, such as those seen in hole LRGO-21-052. We have many additional targets to test over the coming months.”
