Silver Viper’s President and CEO Steve Cope states, “Recent drilling at El Rubi has continued to expand knowledge along the main mineralized trend. In the deeper holes we are seeing continuations of mineralized structures hosted by the rhyolitic tuff unit which underlies the main andesitic host rock.”
Defiance Silver Corp. is pleased to announce that it will be commencing a drill campaign on the regional exploration targets at Lucita on the company’s Zacatecas project. Drilling is scheduled to commence on or around October 10th and will initially be focused at Lucita South, which includes the Palenque, El Puerto, and the Tahuares vein structures.
Taj Singh, President and CEO, states: “Highlight intercepts from this release are from both the North and South Corridors and demonstrate the potential to expand the higher-grade resource as we tighten up the drill spacing across the deposit through our Phase 2 drill program.”
It now is the belief, that the mineralized diorite dike being encountered in present drilling or re-logged in past historical drilling is the direct cause of the hydrothermal gold domain system and increases with mineralization at depth. The emplacement of the dike caused breccias and sheeted veins to the sides of the walls over considerable widths.

Trelles, Special Advisor, states: “We see strong economic potential in the Sonora Copper area, based on the observed precious and base metal enrichment seen along the outcropping mineralized structures. The positive results are encouraging us to go on with exploration and evaluation activities”.

The company continues detailed sampling in the eastern half of the claims to finalize a maiden drill program at Cumaro.”
