Torex Gold Resources Inc. is pleased to report numerous high grade gold intercepts at its El Limon deposit. These step-out drill results extend the known mineralization to the east and west of the El Limon deposit and defined several areas requiring additional step-out drill testing, which will be conducted over the next four weeks. The 2011 drill program north of the Balsas River was extended into 2012 and is expected to be completed within the next four weeks. The very successful results of the 2011 drill program on all three known deposits north of the Balsas River will be combined with previous drill results to allow the preparation of new ‘North of the Balsas River’ resource estimates, which are expected to be completed in late March of this year.

Animas Resources Ltd. has closed on $1.2 million of the financing with Ernesto Echavarria as the sole participant. Mr. Echavarria may fund Animas with additional funds at a future date as approved by the shareholders for up to a 39.1% interest in Animas. Mr. Echavarria now owns approximately 27.7% of the issued and outstanding common shares of Animas.

Santa Fe Metals Corp. is pleased to report assay results from the November/December 2011 phase of the ongoing sampling program on its Don Indio project at Cuatro Ciénegas, Coahuila, Mexico.

Urastar Gold Corp. launches 1500m RC drilling on El Jabali (7ha, 6km from Mulatos mine) and Juliana (700ha, 7km west) in Sonora, Mexico’s Mulatos Belt. Tests extensions of historic La Dura mine (vuggy silica breccias) and shallow native gold pits in silicified veins, akin to Alamos Gold’s operations.

Avino Silver & Gold Mines Ltd. is pleased to announce results of further drilling at the San Gonzalo zone on the company’s property north-east of Durango, Mexico.

Pan American Goldfields Ltd. is pleased to announce that work on the Cieneguita project NI43-101 compliant Preliminary Economic Assessment is on schedule for its expected completion in the second quarter of 2012. The PEA was started in October 2011 and the primary consultant is M3 Engineering and Technology based in Tucson, Arizona.
