Vizsla Silver appointed Luis Lázaro as President, Mexico, effective August 5, 2026. He will lead Mexican operations and oversee advancement of the Panuco silver project through permitting, construction and potential production, targeting first silver production in the second half of 2027.
Guanajuato Silver received permits for surface drilling at its El Horcón project in Jalisco. The planned program will test extensions of the gold-silver-lead-zinc vein system, improve understanding of the historical resource and evaluate El Horcón’s potential as a satellite operation supplying the company’s processing facilities in Guanajuato.
Silverco Mining commenced underground development at the Promontorio and San Miguel zones of its Cusi mine in Chihuahua. Mine and mill rehabilitation remain on budget and schedule, with first ore from Promontorio expected during Q3 and initial concentrate production targeted for Q4 2026.
