Sonoro Gold completed the acquisition of a 100% interest in 23 concessions totaling 4,239 ha adjacent to its Cerro Caliche Gold Project for US$5.17 million. Since January, Cerro Caliche has expanded from 1,350 to 8,215 ha, plus a 51% interest in another 454 ha, significantly increasing the project’s exploration potential.
Mercado Minerals signed a community access and exploration agreement with Ejido Rincón de Ibonia covering part of its Zamora Project in Sinaloa, enabling drill permitting at Campanillas. Mercado will pay MXN$100,000 annually plus MXN$3,000 per drill pad. Field teams are advancing mapping, sampling and logistics ahead of a planned drill program.
Silver Storm Mining closed the first tranche of its private placement, raising $14.625 million through 29.25 million units at $0.50. Eric Sprott invested $7.5 million. Strong demand prompted the Company to further increase the offering to up to $21 million, with proceeds supporting drilling at La Parrilla and working capital.
Guanajuato Silver reported its second consecutive profitable quarter, with Q2 2026 net income of US$557,000 on US$42.5 million revenue. Mine operating income reached US$9.1 million and adjusted EBITDA US$5.8 million. Silver production increased 2% to 347,481 ounces, while the Company substantially reduced debt and ended the quarter with US$19.9 million in cash and investments.
Pinnacle Silver and Gold received TSXV approval to extend its $2.2 million private placement to September 26, 2026. The company previously closed a $652,080 first tranche. Proceeds will advance the El Potrero gold-silver project in Durango, including project evaluations and working capital, supporting Pinnacle’s strategy toward potential near-term production.
