Goldgroup is advancing four assets following its merger with Gold Resource. Don David has completed more than 23,000 m of drilling; San Francisco is undertaking a 24,000 m program ahead of a possible year-end restart; three rigs are drilling at Cerro Prieto; and a Back Forty feasibility study is underway.
Newmont produced 1.29 million attributable gold oz, 7 million silver oz and 17,000 tonnes copper in Q2 2026. Net income and record second-quarter free cash flow each reached $2.2 billion. The company returned $1.9 billion to shareholders and maintained full-year guidance of 5.26 million gold oz at $1,680/oz AISC.
Silver Viper’s El Rubi infill drilling at La Virginia returned 15.8 m grading 2.20 g/t gold and 355.2 g/t silver, including 9.4 m at 3.43 g/t gold and 156.5 g/t silver. Another hole cut 11.0 m at 2.70 g/t gold and 177.6 g/t silver. Results strengthen confidence in the resource model.
Americas Gold and Silver produced 664,971 oz silver and 800,735 AgEq oz in Q2 2026, including 337,270 oz silver from Cosalá. Consolidated silver output fell 15% from Q1, partly due to an electrical fire at Galena. First-half production reached 1.5 Moz, and 2026 guidance remains 3.2–3.6 Moz silver.
