Tocvan is advancing Gran Pilar’s fully permitted 50,000-tonne heap-leach pilot operation through phased trenching, stockpiling, pad construction, crushing, stacking and processing. Mexican Gold Mining closed a $2.299 million subscription-receipt financing supporting its acquisition of Alcon Silver. Effective July 16, 2026, the company will consolidate its shares 1.6667-for-one and rename itself Platauro Metals Corp. Shares are expected to begin trading under TSXV symbol PURO around July 20. Proceeds will support project exploration and working capital.
Vizsla Royalties received overwhelming shareholder (99.8%) and British Columbia Supreme Court approval for its plan of arrangement with Elemental Royalty, which will acquire all outstanding shares. The transaction now awaits customary closing conditions, including approval from Mexico’s antitrust authority, before completion.
Silver Storm has commenced hot commissioning of the expanded 1,250 tpd sulphide processing circuit at its La Parrilla mine in Durango, using high-grade stockpiled sulphide material to produce silver-rich lead and zinc concentrates. The milestone advances the mine restart, supported by extended Samsung offtake terms and a US$5 million financing from First Majestic.
Minaurum reported high-grade drill results from its Alamos Silver Project in Sonora, including 5.95 metres grading 1,117 g/t silver equivalent at the Quintera vein and 3.65 metres grading 888 g/t AgEq at Europa Sur. The results extend high-grade mineralization at depth and support continued resource expansion ahead of an updated mineral resource estimate.
Minaurum has engaged SGS Geological Services to complete an updated NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate for its Alamos Silver Project in Sonora. The update will incorporate results from an expanded drill database and is expected to support continued resource growth and future project development planning.
Advance Metals reported its strongest polymetallic intercept to date from hole GV-26-003 at the Gavilanes project in Durango, returning 37.5 metres grading 83 g/t silver, 0.8 g/t gold and 0.6% copper, below two shallow high-grade silver zones. The deep mineralization remains open, supporting a vertically zoned system with increasing copper-gold potential at depth.
Sierra Madre Gold & Silver has received SEMARNAT approval to begin exploration drilling in the East District of its La Guitarra silver-gold complex. The permit covers 22 drill pads for the first phase of a fully funded 30,000-metre program targeting up to 30 vein systems, with drilling expected to commence within 60 days.
Mining Americas produced 9,105 ounces of gold from its Pan Mine in Nevada during Q2 2026, bringing first-half production to 17,839 ounces. Silver Spruce Resources has acquired a 100% direct interest in the Pino de Plata silver project in Chihuahua, replacing its previous option agreement. The new structure removes the time limit on development or sale, while the company advances land access negotiations and prepares for a Phase I drill program at the undrilled property near Coeur’s Palmarejo mine.
