The all-share transaction values the project at about US$15 million, with Orex and Fresnillo becoming shareholders in Silver Viper after closing.
Zacatecas Silver received a SEMARNAT drill permit for the El Cristo vein system at its Zacatecas Silver Project, enabling a 4,000 m 2026 drill program (2,800 m at El Cristo). Pacifica Silver expanded its Phase II drill program at the Claudia silver-gold project in Durango from 12,000 to 20,000 metres following financing and new permits. The program targets high-grade veins and new zones, with multiple rigs active and assays pending. The company also appointed veteran geologist Dr. Steven I. Weiss as Interim VP Exploration.
GFM Resources announced a non-brokered private placement of up to 30M units at $0.05 per unit to raise up to C$1.5M. Each unit includes a share and a one-year warrant at $0.05. Proceeds will be used to repay liabilities and for working capital, subject to TSX Venture Exchange approval.
