Sonoro Gold Corp. submitted a revised Environmental Impact Statement (MIA) for its Cerro Caliche gold project in Sonora, Mexico, to SEMARNAT in February 2025. The updated MIA enhances the mine plan and environmental stewardship. The project, a 9-year open-pit heap leach operation, has secured all concession and surface rights, aiming for sustainable gold production.
GoGold Resources Inc. reported Q2 2025 production of 555,500 silver equivalent ounces from its Parral mine, including 201,616 silver ounces, 3,100 gold ounces, 128 tonnes of copper, and 140 tonnes of zinc. The company’s strong cash flow from Parral supports exploration and engineering at Los Ricos, positioning GoGold well for the anticipated construction start at Los Ricos South.
First Majestic Silver Corp. reported a Q2 2025 production of 7.9 million silver equivalent ounces from its four Mexican mines, up 48% from Q2 2024. Silver production rose 76% to 3.7 million ounces.
