Premier Implements COVID-19 Response Plan at Mercedes Mine

PREMIER GOLD MINES LIMITED today announced that the Mercedes mine is in the process of taking final steps to place the mine into care and maintenance as part of action required in order to help protect the health of our employees, their families and neighboring communities from the growing threat of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Company wishes to clearly reiterate that it does not classify the Historic Resource Estimate referred to in the Report as a current mineral resource and that it is not treating the Historical Resource Estimate as a current mineral resource. The historical work is being used by the Company solely to plan and guide the location of future exploration geophysics and drilling.

Gold Resource Corp. – Mexico Ministry of Health Orders Thirty-Day Suspension of All Non-Essential Business Including Mining

Gold Resource Corporation is in the process of furloughing its Oaxaca Mining Unit workforce, none of whom have been diagnosed with the virus. A limited operational staff will maintain safety and environmental systems at the Oaxaca Mining Unit along with performing care and maintenance with a goal to return to production as quickly as possible once the thirty-day suspension is lifted. Due to this mandated shutdown the Company suspends its 2020 production outlook.
