The Company has requested that the TSX Venture Exchange extend the expiry date of the warrants for a term of six months, to September 3, 2019. All other terms and conditions of the warrants, including the acceleration clause, remain the same.

Drilling continues to test both areas for additional gold mineralization.”

Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. is pleased to report that the Federal Attorney’s Office for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) has completed its investigation into the overflow of the contingency pond at the dry stack tailings facility at the San Jose Mine on October 8, 2018, which was caused by heavy seasonal rains. PROFEPAs final report confirms that the overflow did not contaminate soil, and therefore no remediation is required.
