Highvista Gold Inc. announces that the Company’s Board of Directors have authorized management to proceed with a change of business to an investment corporation which can undertake both mining and non-mining investments. No acquisitions or mergers are being contemplated at this time. The business plan is currently being developed and will be announced when finalized in the near future. As a result, Highvista has requested a halt of trading of its common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange.
