Baja Corporate Update

Further to its news release dated July 2, 2015, the Company is pleased to report that initial metallurgical test work on samples taken from the Cinto Colorado leach/precipitation/flotation tailings located in Santa Rosalia, adjacent to the Boleo mine site, have yielded positive results. The Company engaged Met-Solve Laboratories in Langley, BC to undertake and coordinate the testing, which was supervised by Dr. Dreisinger, with Dr. Thomas Glück, the former Director of Process Technology at Baja and a co-author of the 2010 Boleo Technical Report, as project manager.

Argonaut Gold Announces Full Year 2014 Gold Production of 136,706 Gold Equivalent Ounces; Record Quarterly Production of 44,312 Gold Equivalent Ounces

Argonaut Gold Inc. announced today that it had record production of 44,312 gold equivalent ounces during the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2014. This included 27,870 gold equivalent ounces at its 100% owned El Castillo Mine located in the State of Durango, Mexico and 16,442 gold equivalent ounces at its 100% owned La Colorada Mine located near Hermosillo, Mexico. Gold equivalent ounces are calculated on the basis set out below.

Azure buys project from Canada’s Teck

Mexico-focused mineral explorer Azure Minerals has inked an agreement with the Mexican subsidiary of Canada’s Teck Resources to acquire the Alacrán copper project, in the Mexican state of Sonora.

Paramount Gold and Silver Intersects Gold and Silver Mineralization at Recently Discovered Dana Vein, Adjacent to Don Ese Deposit and Coeur’s Guadalupe Mine

Paramount Gold and Silver Corp. announced today that assays from six new core holes drilled into the Dana Vein have intercepted gold and silver mineralization. The Dana target, discovered by Paramount earlier this year, is strategically located between the high grade Don Ese deposit and Coeur Mining’s Guadalupe mine which is just 800 meters to the west.

Goldcorp Declares First Monthly Dividend Payment for 2015

GOLDCORP INC. is pleased to declare its first monthly dividend payment for 2015 of $0.05 per share. Shareholders of record at the close of business on Thursday, January 15, 2015 will be entitled to receive payment of this dividend on Friday, January 23, 2015.

Santacruz Silver Reports Malfunction in Tailings Dam Dewatering Pipe

Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd. reports that during the weekend at its Rosario Mine in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, a pipeline connecting the Rosario Mine tailings impoundment to a secondary settling pond ruptured and as a consequence water and some tailings material were discharged outside of the tailings treatment system. The Company has notified all appropriate regulatory and governmental authorities.
