VVC Exploration-Results of Annual General and Special Meeting

VVC Exploation Corporation announces that its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders took place on July 30, 2013 and that the shareholders approved the re-election of the existing Board of Directors. In addition, shareholders approved all other matters which were submitted with the proxy materials for approval at the AGM, including the acquisition of Camex Mining Development Group Inc., the issuance of shares, the adoption of a new By-Law, the requisite annual approval of the Stock Option Plan for 2013 and the re-appointment of MSCM LLP as auditors of the Company. Osisko Reports Second Quarter 2013 Results

Osisko Mining Corporation today reported adjusted net earnings(1) of $25.1 million ($0.06 per share) for the second quarter of 2013 compared to 35.6 million ($0.09 per share) for the second quarter of 2012. The net loss for the quarter amounted to $492.8 million ($1.13 per share) mainly as a result of an after-tax impairment charge on the Hammond Reef gold project of $487.8 million, compared to net earnings of $19.0 million in the second quarter of 2012 ($0.05 per share).
