Golden Minerals Announces Equity Financing

Golden Minerals Company is pleased to announce that it has entered into an underwriting agreement with Wells Fargo Securities to sell 5,497,504 units, comprised of one share of common stock and a five year warrant to acquire one half of a share of common stock at an exercise price of US$8.42, at a price of US$5.75 per unit, for gross proceeds of US$ 31.6 million. Net proceeds, after underwriting discounts and estimated offering costs, will be approximately US$29.5 million.

Southridge Initiates Aggressive 50,000 Meter Drill Program at Gran Cabrera Gold & Silver Mining Properties

Southridge Enterprises Inc. is pleased to announce that it has commenced a 50,000 meter exploration drill program at Gran Cabrera Gold & Silver Mining properties in Mexico, where previous underground workings stated grades from this area in the order of 200-500 gram Silver and 3.4 gram Gold based on average assays from chip and channel samples. Historical information stated that ore from the Gran Cabrera mines could obtain assays in the order of 9 kilograms (290 oz) silver and about 10.3 grams (0.3 oz) gold in bulk operations, all high-end bonanza grade values.
