AuRico Gold CEO Says It Will Be ‘Opportunistic’ in M&A

AuRico Gold Inc. (AUQ), the Canadian miner that bought Northgate Minerals Corp. for C$1.34 billion ($1.31 billion) in October, said it will be “opportunistic” in considering further deals after gold-asset valuations fell.

Soltoro Intercepts 18 Metres of 161 g/t Silver Including 4.5 Metres of 378 g/t Silver in Discovery Zone at El Rayo Project

Soltoro Ltd. has completed in excess of 10,000 metres of this year’s planned 20,000 metre drill program at its El Rayo primary silver project in Jalisco, Mexico. Results from the latest round of drillinginclude high-grade silver intercepts of 1.2 metres of 706 g/t silver at the La Soledad West deposit and 4.5 metres of 378 g/t silver in a newly discovered zone east of the Matachines mine at the south end of the Las Bolas structure. Drilling continues in order to expand existing silver resources along extensions of known resource areas and at newly identified prospective exploration target areas.

Camino Outlines 1.5 km By 2 km Area of Anomalous Gold And Silver at El Secreto Gold-Silver-Copper Project

Camino Minerals Corporation is pleased to announce that a soil geochemical survey has outlined a large area, approximately 1.5 km by 2 km, of anomalous gold and silver values at the recently optioned El Secreto Gold, Silver and Copper Project located Sinaloa State, Mexico. The area, known as the El Secreto Zone is located in the northeastern part of the property. Rock samples taken from the ELZ have returned up to 6.31 g/t gold and up to 178 g/t silver.

NWM Signs Agreement to Purchase SART Plant Equipment

NWM Mining Corporation announces that it has agreed to purchase a SART plant from BioteQ Environmental Technologies, Inc., located at its Lluvia de Oro property in Sonora, Mexico, for US$650,000. The Company will make a cash payment of US$650,000 by June 22, 2012, and ownership of the equipment will be transferred to the Company on an “as is” basis.
