Goldgroup Provides Permitting and Project Update at Caballo Blanco and Election of Board of Directors

Goldgroup Mining Inc. is pleased to announce that it has completed the next stage of its permitting process at the Caballo Blanco project by submitting responses to the list of comments from the Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recurso Naturales, also known as the Ministry of Environmental and Natural Resources, received on March 13, 2012, regarding its previously submitted Environmental Impact Statement. Goldgroup’s responses were filed within the 60 working day timeframe provided by SEMARNAT. The responses are standard procedure in the environmental permitting process and are meant to clarify certain aspects of Goldgroup’s permit application, as well as facilitate SEMARNAT’s review of the EIS. The environmental permitting process is governed by Mexican federal law and regulations.

Cangold Advances Metallurgical Program to Pre-Feasibility Level for Ixhuatan Gold-Silver Project

Cangold Limited is pleased to announce that metallurgical testing for the Ixhuatan Gold-Silver Project in Chiapas, Mexico has been advanced to a pre-feasibility level. Phase 1 metallurgical testing at SGS Lakefield, Canada consisted of a scoping level gold recovery test program to define the plant process flowsheet. Testwork results indicated recoveries averaging 87% (range of 82-93%). The average grade obtained by SGS Lakefield for the four drill core samples tested (see news release May 1, 2012) was 2.77g/t gold.

Patriot Minefinders Prepares for Intense Exploration at La Buena

Sierra Madre Announces Initial Drill Results at Penoles Project in Mexico

Sierra Madre Developments Inc. and its partner Riverside Resources Inc. have announced drill results including 20.9 meters of 1.01 g/t gold from the first two drill holes completed as part of the 2012 drill program at the El Capitan Target (a bulk tonnage oxide gold deposit), which forms part of the Company’s Penoles Project in Durango, Mexico. Drilling in 2011 tested approximately 60% of the strike extent of the zone and the objective of the current drill program (funded by Sierra Madre) is to test the down dip extent, possible extensions to the west and provide sufficient drill hole density for an initial resource calculation for El Capitan.
