Vancouver, British Columbia…Parlane Resource Corp. (TSX-V:PPP) (“Parlane”) announces that at its Annual General Meeting (the “Meeting”) held on December 21, 2012, Messrs. Robert Eadie, Gary Arca and David Gunning were reappointed directors for the ensuing year, and Ken Sumanik was appointed a new director of the Company.
Mr. Sumanik (M.Sc.) is an environment and land specialist, with over forty years experience in logging and mining impact assessment and evaluation. From 1989 to 1999, he held the position of Vice-President of Environment and Land Use for the Mining Association of British Columbia. Mr. Sumanik then served as Assistant to the Minister for Mining in British Columbia before becoming involved with publicly listed junior mining companies.
